Alexis (Lloyd) Hansen and Ira will be celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary this year. They are high school sweethearts from Sparks High School. She is the mother to their eight children, grandmother to 24 (with one more on the way), and is frequently asked “Are you crazy?!” 

 

The answer is yes! 

But, Alexis would be first to tell you it is a crazy life worth living, and she has thoroughly enjoyed raising a family with Ira. Alexis is known as the “calm” in the storm of an often hectic family schedule which includes countless school activities, sports practices, college applications, piano recitals, and plumbing business matters. Ira will be the first to tell you that any success he has achieved was due to the love and support from Alexis. Together they make quite a team.
